In my opinion, the selection of a contractor and drilling method is at least as important to the success of a water well as the technical specifications.
Each different type of drilling machine has a preferred use depending on the purpose of the borehole, its depth, diameter, formations penetrated, water level or artesian pressure, environmental setting, and other factors.
